Software Description:
TwistedBrush Liquid Studio is a product bornfrom TwistedBrush Pro Studio but with a focus on creation ofindividual objects that you might use in other Pro Studio or otherart software and with a simpler, streamlined interface. The Liquidpaints allow you to model and shape your objects and then paintthem with the included brushes with the results being crisp linesyou might see in illustration software but without the need to maskanything. You can even continue to shape your objects after theyare painted.
LIQUID ART CREATION
The process of creation using Liquid Studio can roughly followthese steps with the first step painting a basic shape. There isn’ta need to be accurate it will be shaped and tine tuned in latersteps. Concentrate on creation of a silhouette of what you aretrying to create.
Using the liquid shaping brushes push and pull your shape to get itcloser to what you want. Similar to working with clay but in2D.
The Liquid smoothing brushes can be used to further refine theshape as well as smooth the edges.
Using the collection of paint brushes included with Liquid Studioyou are now ready to paint your shape. There is no need to mask orselect, only the objects on the current layer will be painted andyou will have a crisp edge to your object.
QUICK ACCESS PANELS
On the right are two panels you will use a lot. The ColorManagement panel and the Brush Shortcut Panel. All the panels inLiquid Studio will automatically hide if they get in your way whilepainting. Manually hiding all panels is also possible with the F3hotkey.
QUICK COMMAND PANEL
The Quick Command panel gives you a configurable array of buttonsyou can keep close at hand while working. Resize and reshape thepanel to your needs. Add, remove and move buttons to create thelayout that works best for you. Quickly show or hide the panel withthe [F4] hotkey. Right click to edit a button or add one to anempty slot. [Ctrl] + click to drag a button to a new location. Asan added bonus there is some functionality exposed in the QuickCommand panel that isn’t available anywhere else in LiquidStudio.
POWERFUL BRUSH EFFECTS SYSTEM
Since User ArtSets are available you might be thinking where willyou get new brushes from. There are a number of ways, user sharedbrushes in the Pixarra forum, brushes imported from Pro Studio, ORnow you can edit brushes right in Pixel Studio with the powerfulBrush Effects system from Pro Studio. First an IMPORTANT NOTE:Editing brushes is NOT an easy task. There are over 500 differenteffects that can be combined in 28 effect layers with each effectprocessed with 100’s of modifiers. I think it’s safe to say thePixarra brush effects system makes for the most powerful brushengine in existence. Evidenced in the ability with the same engineto draw simple lines or fully detailed tree with a single stroke ascan be seen in Tree Studio.
One of the common ways to use the Brush Effects panel is to tweakexisting brushes in small ways to meet your needs and you can dothis right in Liquid Studio and save them to the User ArtSets.
LAYERS
Easy access support for layers are in Liquid Studio. The idea is tokeep your work flow simple and fast. A simple single click tocreate a layer with no scrolling. Right click a layer foradditional options. Drag layers to rearrange them.
